Roles

These roles are written solely to the extent that they apply to the SEO campaign process.

Chief Executive Officer

The chief executive officer is responsible for the team's integration both internally and with clients, and makes decisions on choices which affect the whole company.

Project Manager

The project manager is responsible for assessing the team's status, making recommendations to the campaign manager on resource allocation, and providing synthesized feedback to the chief executive officer. The role of the project manager mostly exists inside the sprint process and focuses on improving current sprint performance.

Campaign Manager

The campaign manager is responsible for allocating team resources proportionately to clients based on team workload, team feedback, client satisfaction, and campaign success. The role of the campaign manager mostly exists outside the sprint process and oversees sprint creation.

Office Manager

The office manager is responsible for handling 'paper'work including incoming bills, outgoing invoices, client communication, and meeting scheduling.

Social Media Director

The social media director is responsible for creating a plan to promote the client on social media via the creation of content, promotion of existing content, and response to customer feedback.

Technical Director

The technical director is responsible for creating a plan to optimize the client's technical implementation. This includes site code, information architecture, and integration with external applications.

Creative Director

The creative director is responsible for creating a plan to establish the creative identity of the client's intellectual property. This includes site design, branding, advertisement campaigns, and media production.

Talent

The talent roles may be filled by any of the roles above, or be filled by any number of dedicated team members.

Programmer

A programmer is responsible for the implementation of directors' plans through programming performed on the client's site.

Information Architect

An information architect is responsible for the implementation of directors' plans through organizing information on the client's site.

User Experience Designer

A user experience designer is responsible for the implementation of directors' plans by improving the way in which users interact with the client's site.

Graphic Designer

A graphic designer is responsible for the implementation of directors' plans through the creation of media to be used for the client.

Copywriter

A copywriter supports other roles by creating copy to implement directors' plans.
